All thirteen frames, in the order they were read.

Two surfaces, four subjects, nothing cropped away. Every frame is printed whole with its edges on, and every caption was written after looking at that frame and at nothing else. Open a caption to see the list of what was actually checked in it, and what could not be seen.

Scripting is switched off, so the filters are not shown. Nothing is missing: all thirteen frames are printed below in order, and each caption carries its own note of what was checked. Frames 01 to 06 and frame 13 were shot on the wooden table. Frames 07 to 12 were shot on the carpet floor.

01 Wooden table

The table, working

Shot from standing height, straight down. The garment fills the middle and the room fills the rest: chairs stacked at the left, a polythene bag at the right, and the whole clutter of a table in use along the top edge. The photographer's feet close the bottom of the frame.

Observed A plain outer face with no quilting on the shell side, and a full length front zip.
Observed The hood lies flat above the collar, spread by hand.
Observed Along the far table edge: a pocket calculator, a paper envelope, a metal flask, a plastic water bottle, a black motorcycle helmet, a plant.
Not visible The label, any size marking, any part of the lining.

02 Wooden table

The same jacket, opened wider

The same garment and the same table as frame 01, with the front pulled further apart so the inside of the collar comes into view. A small blue rectangle sits at the back of the neck. The table objects have not moved.

Observed A blue woven label at the inside collar, with a small pale tag immediately beneath it.
Observed Two hanging loops at the shoulders, one at each side of the collar.
Not legible The words on the label at this distance. Frames 05 and 06 read it properly.
Not visible Any pocket interior, any second label.

03 Wooden table

Navy, closed, both cuffs in shot

A navy hooded jacket laid closed on the wood, zip run all the way up, hood open behind the collar and lined dark. Both sleeves are laid straight so both cuffs are readable in one frame, which is the reason this frame is worth keeping.

Observed A dark loop patch on the outer face of each cuff, one per sleeve.
Observed Two angled side pockets, each closed with a zip that runs the length of the opening.
Observed A full length front zip, and a hood lined in a darker cloth than the shell.
Not visible The label, which is under the collar and out of view in this frame.

04 Wooden table

Navy, opened at the neck

The navy jacket from frame 03, opened. The inner face is a dark quilted cloth in wide horizontal channels, and against it the blue label reads clearly at this distance for the first time. A small white tag hangs directly below it.

Observed The wordmark DOKPA in white capitals with a registered mark, on a bright blue ground.
Observed A white tag printed with a single letter M, sewn below the label.
Observed Inner face quilted in horizontal channels; one cord toggle at the hood edge.
Not read The line of small type beneath the wordmark, which is legible only in frame 06.

05 Wooden table

Collar, three quarters

Closer again, and taken from an angle rather than straight on, so the collar stands away from the body and the label sits upright in the frame. The sleeve has been folded across the front, which puts one cuff tab and one pocket zip in the same picture as the label.

Observed An emblem drawn in white outline sits above the wordmark on the label.
Observed One cuff tab and one zipped side pocket, both on the same garment as the label.
Observed Two cord toggles at the hood opening, one per side.
Not identified What the emblem depicts. It is not described anywhere in this archive.

06 Wooden table

The closest reading

The label at the shortest distance anywhere in the set, framed by the open hood above and the quilted inner face below. This is the one frame in which the small line of type under the wordmark can actually be read.

Observed Under the wordmark, in smaller capitals: MADE IN NEPAL.
Observed The white M tag, sewn into the same seam as the label.
Observed Two cord toggles at the hood opening, and a quilted inner face in horizontal channels.
Not present Any care label, any fibre content label, any second tag.

07 Carpet floor

Two garments, one frame

The surface changes here. From frame 07 the garments are on grey carpet, shot from above, and two of them are stacked so the lower one reads as a border around the upper. The tan jacket underneath has its own hood spread above the blue collar.

Observed Hook and loop tabs at both cuffs of the blue jacket, meeting near the centre of the frame.
Observed A tall stand collar, a full length front zip, and two zipped side pockets on the blue jacket.
Observed At the top right, a round metal disc with a dark pole rising from it, on the carpet.
Not visible Any label or size tag on either garment.

08 Carpet floor

Quilted, hood laid clear

A charcoal quilted jacket with the hood placed on the carpet above the collar rather than behind it, so both read separately. The quilting runs in horizontal channels across the body and down the sleeves. A stained wall and a pale sill close the top of the frame.

Observed Quilting in continuous horizontal channels, body and sleeves alike.
Observed A cord toggle at each side of the hood opening, and a further toggle at the hem corner.
Not legible Small printed lettering on both sleeves. It is not read, not identified and not reproduced here.
Not determined Whether the hood detaches or is simply laid back. The frame does not settle it.

09 Carpet floor

Stand collar, no hood

A dark grey jacket with the front zip closed to the top of a tall stand collar. The sleeves have been folded in across the chest. Nothing sits behind the collar: this is the one garment in the archive with no hood visible in any view of it.

Absence No hood behind the collar. Recorded as an absence, not as a feature.
Observed A full length front zip closing into the stand collar, and a yoke seam across the upper chest.
Observed Angled hand pocket openings low on both sides.

10 Carpet floor

Charcoal over olive, tag attached

The only landscape frame in the archive, and the only one in which a garment is still tagged. A charcoal jacket with both sleeves stretched out lies over an olive one, whose pale lining shows along the sleeve ends. A small paper tag hangs at the chest with handwriting on it.

Observed A paper tag tied to the front zip. The handwriting on it is not legible and is not reproduced.
Observed A hood folded down behind a raised collar, a flap pocket at each side, a small pocket high on one sleeve, a ribbed hem.
Observed Behind, on the carpet: a wooden framed stand at the left, the metal disc and pole at the right.

11 Carpet floor

The most detailed garment here

Four kinds of pocket in one frame, which no other garment in the archive manages. The body is longer than the jackets around it, and the hood is propped open so its lining shows. Behind it, a stained wall, a net curtain, and a wooden framed stand with clothing on it.

Observed Snap studs down the placket and at the collar, with a zip beneath.
Observed Vertical welt pockets at chest height; flapped lower pockets with a stud on each flap; a zipped pocket on one sleeve.
Observed A pale lining at the hood, the sleeve ends and the hem, and a cord toggle at each side of the hood.
Not measurable Body length. Nothing in the frame gives a scale, so no dimension is stated.

12 Carpet floor

The frame that overturned a reading

An off white hooded jacket, hood propped open and lined pale grey, with one dark rectangular panel set on the chest. This is the frame that was gone back to at high zoom, because an earlier reading of this garment turned out to be wrong in two places.

Corrected Both cuffs are plain and rounded. There is no tab of any kind, on either sleeve.
Corrected Both lower pockets are plain welt openings. No zip teeth, no pulls.
Observed One zip pull at the upper corner of the chest panel, which is cut from a different, darker cloth.
Not visible Label, size tag, anything of the inner face except the hood lining.

13 Wooden table

The odd frame out

Back on wood, and the only object in the archive that is not a jacket. A flat tote, laid straight, both straps folded up into the top of the picture. The wood here is darker than the table in frames 01 to 06, so this is a different surface in the same building rather than the same one.

Observed A red ground printed with a repeating white and gold motif, over the whole body of the bag.
Observed A woven band across the top in vertical stripes of red, green, grey and white, carrying small cross figures, bound above and below with blue tape.
Observed Straps cut from the body cloth and stitched down onto the band.
Not identified A white machine body at the top left corner. Too little of it is in frame to say what it is.

What a caption is not

Thirteen pictures of a room, and nothing more

These frames show finished garments lying still on two surfaces. They do not show anyone working, any machine in use, any stage of making, or any sequence in time. Nothing on this page says how a garment was made, by whom, in what order, or over how long, because not one frame carries that information.

The objects at the edges are recorded because they are in the picture, not because they mean anything. A calculator on a table evidences a table with a calculator on it. It evidences nothing about scale, staffing, output or capability, and no line in this archive extends it that way.
